Marin Arts & Music and Yoga Tree Corte Madera offer a new monthly dance event on first Saturdays. Dance on a spacious 2400 sg. ft. bamboo/cork dance floor to the beats of the best DJs around!
You’ll be warmly welcomed & invited to dance in the joy of moving with others. This authentic community gathering is a place for true connection and answering the call for the perfect music, space & location to come play and move on a Saturday night.
With special attention to greeting people, creating a beautiful ambient atmosphere with lighting, and a chill space off the dance floor, M.A.M. Jam will offer all this .. & more! We’ll have an entry & reception area to mingle, connect and enjoy fresh organic delectables (provided by Michelle Carmen Rossi… “Rhythmic Seed” who also caters Ecstatic Dance Sf Bay on Wednesday nights in Oakland) or get a massage.
Musically we are less inclined towards the “thump thump” kind of heavy sound in favor of an uplifting, totally danceable, varied mix of world beat, trance-style, soulful & sexy-grooves, tribal rhythms, great remixes, some familiar tracks with a new twist and plenty of funky sounds to inspire your spirit. The very best DJs will each rotate through to bring you the music YOU want to hear.
