Celebrating the vibrant craft brew scene in Northern California, the Fourth Annual Fremont Burger & Brew Fest returns to downtown Fremont on Saturday, May 26 from 11 am to 5:00 pm.
The day-long festival will feature sampling from Bay Area craft breweries, mouthwatering burgers and sliders, gourmet food vendors, art and craft merchants, live entertainment, local business booths, and the popular Burger Throwdown - a burger cooking competition pitting local celebrity teams against each other with the challenge of creating the most mouthwatering burger in just one hour.
Bay Area breweries that will be pouring at the 2018 Burger & Brew Fest include, Buffalo Bill's Brewery, Drake's Brewery, Das Brew, Palmia Beer, Strike Brewing Co., Fort Point Beer Co., Working Man Brewing Co., Ale Industries and Eight Bridges Brewing. Check the website as new breweries and brews are being added. Participating food trucks and vendors will be announced soon.
The live music line-up will be on the main stage at Capitol Avenue and Paseo Padre includes Trip Wire from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm; The Morning Yells from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm; Shark Punch from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Steve Fread will perform on the Burger Throwdown Stage (Capitol Ave & Liberty St) from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
This year's Festival Sponsors are: CEFCU, NBC Bay Area, and Sysco.
Attendance is free and open to the public. Tasting Packages and extras can be purchased in advance online at burgerandbrewfest.com or onsite at the Fest. Prices range from $40 (includes a 4-oz. branded glass and eight pour tickets) to the $60 Buddy Package.
The Burger and Brew Fest will take place on Liberty Street between Capitol & Walnut in downtown Fremont.
